- I'm a painter from Wisconsin.I've been painting for many years but only recently decided to offer some of my very small mini paintings for sale on EBAY through this daily painting blog. It has been my practice to create sketch book size painting studies that focus on small still life or figurative sections of a larger works. These small studies allow me to work out the details of future paintings.This blog serves as a painting journal.I thank you for visiting and invite you to return often. My Bio
Jan Sorensen was born in 1946. She studied at the University of Wisconsin and Dominican college earning Bachelors and Masters degrees in art education. Her career includes 20 plus years of teaching art as well as a life time of studio painting. Her work is in corporate and private collections world wide. She currently lives and works in Mequon, Wisconsin, USA.
